Engineered for the Elements
The marine environment is a nightmare for electronics—salt, spray, and UV rays are constant threats. The R3500 fights back with:
-
IPX7 Weatherproofing: The glass-bonded display and front panel are rated to withstand immersion in water, meaning a sudden downpour or a heavy washdown won't kill your vibe.
UV-Resistant Materials: Specialized finishes prevent the faceplate from cracking or yellowing under the relentless midday sun.
-
Vibrant 4" Color Display: High-contrast and optically bonded to eliminate internal fogging, ensuring you can actually see your track info even in direct sunlight.
Audiophile Power & Control
JBL didn't compromise on the specs. The R3500 provides a robust foundation for any vessel's soundstage:
-
4-Zone Control: Independently manage volume for the cockpit, the tower, the cabin, and the swim platform. No more screaming over the music in the cabin just so the skiers can hear it.
-
NMEA 2000® Ready: Seamlessly integrate with your Multi-Function Display (MFD). Control your tunes directly from your Simrad, Garmin, or Lowrance chartplotter.
-
Built-in Amplifier: Delivers $25W \text{ RMS} \times 4$ channels (at 4 ohms), providing enough punch to drive high-quality marine speakers without an external amp.
Connectivity & Sources
-
Bluetooth® 5.0: Long-range streaming with high-fidelity stability.
Global AM/FM/WB: Stay updated with weather bands and local radio wherever you sail. -
USB & AUX Inputs: Rear-mounted ports for charging and hardwired audio playback.
