Engine Flush Kit – MerCruiser Bravo & MIE

Maintain your engine’s raw-water cooling system with this convenient engine flush kit.

The kit allows fresh water to circulate through the engine’s raw-water-cooled components, helping remove salt, sand, sediment and other contaminants after use. It includes a quick-connect fitting for easy attachment to a standard garden hose.

Compatibility

Suitable for the following non-emissions-controlled MerCruiser engines:

  • 1988 and newer MCM 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L and 6.2L engines with Bravo drives
  • MIE inboard engine applications
  • 1988–2001 MCM 7.4L and 8.2L engines with Bravo drives
  • Selected MIE and ski-engine applications

Installation Note

On V6 engines fitted with one-piece exhaust manifolds, or engines equipped with stainless-steel exhaust elbows, the supplied mounting bracket will need to be remotely mounted.

Depending on the engine application, the flushing procedure may require the engine to be running or may allow flushing without starting the engine. Always follow the engine manufacturer’s flushing instructions for your specific model.
