For the stripping and skinning of common photovoltaic cables with a cross-section of 0.2-6.0 mm²

Weicons Automatic Wire Stripper No. 5 is a fast, incredibly effective and easy to use tool. It strips back the insulation off any cable between 0.2mm² and 6mm² cross-section (24 – 10 AWG) and doesn’t need to be calibrated beforehand. It automatically (hence the name) adjusts to the cable you’re working with and will strip only the insulation, leaving the conductor perfectly intact.

Manufactured by Weicon in Germany, the No. 5 Stripper is ideal for electricians, contractors, DIYers, hobbyists and anyone else working with wires and cables repeatedly. It can be adjusted so that it will strip back between 5mm and 12mm of insulation from the cable end which makes it perfect for all kinds of cable stripping work.

In the handle of the No. 5 Wire Stripper, you’ll find the integrated cutter. This can handle cables up to 2mm in diameter and is incredibly handy for cutting a cable to length before you strip it. It also features a position lock which lets you safely keep this tool in your pocket without any of the blades being exposed.

This quality tool is manufactured from hardened, fibreglass reinforced polyamide and uses steel blades from Solingen, a German town known for making impeccable steel. The blades can be replaced when needed.
